Slowi terms of use

These terms are between you and Flynner ("we"), the maker of Slowi. By using Slowi you agree to them.

What Slowi is

Slowi locks apps on your phone at bedtime and when you ask it to, and wakes you with an alarm. Calls, emergency calls and the apps you allow stay reachable during a lock. Every lock has a way out (the bypass), which costs your streak.

Slowi depends on Android permissions and on your phone's battery and system settings. Android or your phone's maker can stop it from working as expected. Do not rely on Slowi as your only alarm for anything important.

Your account

You need an account to use Slowi. Keep your sign-in details to yourself. One phone uses an account at a time: signing in on a new phone signs the old one out.

Slowi Plus

  • Every new account gets a free week, without a card. After that, Slowi needs Slowi Plus: monthly, yearly, or a one-time lifetime purchase.
  • Prices are shown in the app and in Google Play before you buy.
  • Monthly and yearly renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel any time in Google Play (Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions), at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You keep Plus until the end of the period you paid for.
  • Payments and refunds are handled by Google Play, under Google Play's refund policy. You can also ask us at support@slowi.app.
  • "Lifetime" means for as long as we offer Slowi.

Acceptable use

Do not try to break, reverse engineer or misuse the app or its servers, or use it to lock someone else's phone without their consent.

Liability

Slowi is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for missed alarms, locks that did or did not happen, or loss of data. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.

Ending

You can stop using Slowi and delete your account at any time. We can end or suspend an account that breaks these terms.

Changes

We may change these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app before it applies.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of the Netherlands.
